Located in Gerringong, NSW, on 150 acres of oceanfront farmland, this luxury escape won the ‘Australian House of the Year’ award in 2019 and comprises two beautifully appointed abodes – The Headland and The Range.

We used the larger of the two residences – The Headland – to highlight the beauty of our solid oak furniture. Bold, beautiful and bright with natural light streaming through its floor-to-ceiling windows, it’s a place that exudes sophistication. Think four bedrooms, a swimming pool, a gym and unrivalled ocean and beach views. Wow!
By contrast, the second residence – The Range – is warm and intimate with two bedrooms, a fireplace, a plunge pool and gorgeous countryside views. We used this house as the setting for our solid walnut range which exudes richness and character – just like the dwelling itself.

So, how did this all come about? It all goes back to when Icon By Design was an event partner for ‘Dine in Design’ hosted at Dovecote. We supplied all the Otto dining tables and Henrik dining chairs for this sought-after fine dining event where the best local produce was cooked to perfection by world-renowned chef Alex Prichard. It was such a success that we decided to use The Headland and The Range at Dovecote for our next photoshoot. And so it came to pass …
